Program Overview
Universitas Raharja proudly invites distinguished international post-doctoral researchers to join a forward-looking research environment dedicated to advancing breakthrough innovations in informatics engineering, information systems, data science, management, and other emerging disciplines. Designed with a strong academic foundation and global research vision, this program empowers scholars to collaborate across borders, engage in high-impact projects, and contribute to transformative knowledge that supports technological and societal advancement.
Our post-doctoral track is structured as an elite Research Fellowship or Visiting Researcher appointment, distinct from traditional coursework-based study programs. Participants are early-career researchers focused exclusively on producing meaningful and measurable scholarly outputs, including Scopus-indexed journal publications, innovation-driven research, patent development, and international collaborations. No academic credits or degree conferrals are involved; instead, the emphasis lies on excellence, productivity, and global academic contribution.
Program Duration: 1–2 years, with extension options depending on project progress and research scope.
Research Focus Areas: AI, blockchain, digital business, sustainable informatics, and other domains aligned with Universitas Raharja’s core strengths in technology and industry-driven innovation.
Instead, the focus is on producing high-level outputs such as:
- Scopus-indexed journal publications
- Joint research projects and grant proposals
- Product innovation and technology development
- International academic collaborations and conferences
The program fosters a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment that connects researchers with global networks and cutting-edge research opportunities.
Supervision & Research Guidance
Each post-doctoral researcher will receive structured supervision that ensures academic rigour and international relevance:
- Primary Supervisor: Professor from Universitas Raharja (Master of Informatics Engineering or Master of Management)
- Co-Supervisor: Professor from the applicant’s home university or country
- Joint supervision promotes cross-country perspectives and enhances academic output quality
- Universitas Raharja can assist in identifying eligible co-supervisors if needed
This dual-supervisor system strengthens the research ecosystem, ensuring that each project reaches international publication standards and contributes meaningful insights to global academic communities.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, completed within the last 5 years.
- Research Proposal: A 2-3 page outline of your proposed project, aligned with Universitas Raharja’s expertise.
- Language Proficiency: English proficiency (TOEFL 550+ or IELTS 6.0+); Indonesian language skills are a plus but not required.
- Visa and Permits: The post-doc is conducted fully online. No visa or permits is required.
- Other: CV, two recommendation letters (one from your PhD supervisor), and proof of funding.
Applicants must demonstrate strong motivation, academic integrity, and a clear alignment between their proposed research and the university’s research capabilities.

Post-Doc Tuition & Scholarships
The program requires a tuition fee of USD 9,000, which covers academic support, supervision, digital resources, and research facilitation.
Scholarships are available for exceptional candidates demonstrating outstanding academic merit, strong publication records, or alignment with priority research areas.
